Generator pops the 20amp switch..

While exercising my generator (30 day intervals) it would run a couple of minutes then everything inside would shut down and I would have to go back outside and flip the switch back. The generator never shut down but 3 times in 12 minutes it would trip the 20amp breaker that is on the generator but the 30 amp breaker did not trip. Anyone have any ideas as to why this might happen? Jimbo

Highest winds a Fiver can take?

Anyone sat thru a very bad storm (say like a hurricane) in a Fiver? Do they blow over? I may be headed into a very bad mid-week coming up. I live on the Treasure Coast and Hanna is looking right at us. Jimbo

RE: Electronic Sewer Controls

My Day Dreamer has the electric dump values. I hit the button and 2 seconds later it comes flying out. When done push button again and the light goes out. Not a problem in the last 8 months (purchased Jan 22, 2008) and it is used daily. This is my home for the next 10 years or so. Retire in 64 more working days. At the ripe old age of 54 years 1 month old. Jimbo

What's the difference between

and F250 and F350? Or Chevy 2500 and 3500? From what little I can find it seems they have the same parts and shocks, springs, etc. If I was worried about pin weight (assuming I am correct) why would I spend extra money for a 350 instead of a 250? I really need your guys advise because this is probably the MOST IMPORTANT decission I am going to make for the next 10 years. If I screw this up, well I am screwed...lol Hitting the road in 4 months. Already have 37' Day Dreamer and pin weight is about 3500 if that helps anyone. Oh I am getting a 18,000 hitch - is that enough? Jimbo Retiring at 53.

RE: power shore cord too short?

Just bought a 50Amp extension cord of 25 feet from campingworld for (Gulp) 150 bucks. Not bad actually because my local rv stealer ( lol) wanted 196.99 for the same cord. Jimbo

Diesel Truck Owners I need your advise....

I am purchasing my first diesel SOON and I have no idea what questions to ask or what to look for as far as normal wear and tear. I will be looking at a 3500 series with dual wheels and 2 wheel drive with anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 miles on the truck. What questions should I ask the dealer and what things can the dealer show me other than a carfax? Is their a service record I can also ask for? Does it have a name? Are their certain things I should see on the interior gauges that I should look for as far as being normal? Turbo boost rate, if it has one of course :) things like that. I truely am a greenhorn as far as a diesel truck goes and any/all adivse you can give me would be greatly apprieciated. Jimbo

RE: Interior 5er Steps

We recently purchased the Cedar Creek Day Dreamer. My wife (just this past weekend put down some kind of mesh that you cut to form and then put your rug on top of that so it wont slip. The 10 foot runner carpet would slip but not now. I believe she purchased it at WalMart. The carpet runner we already had. We have had our Cedar Creek for about 4 months and we love everything about her. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do ours. Jimbo
